Zois Evangelopoulos graduated from the Medical School of the Military Academy of Officer Corps (SSAS) in Thessaloniki (1987). He completed his specialization at the 251 Air Force General Hospital (1990-1991) and immediately thereafter at Aretaieio Hospital in Athens (1991-1994).

He was trained in Surgery, Pulmonology, and Cardiology at the 251st Air Force General Hospital (1987-1988) as part of his rotation as a newly commissioned Medical Second Lieutenant, and served as a Registrar in the Hematology laboratory of the same hospital (1994-1999).

He served as Head of Medical Services a) at the Radar Station of Ziros, Southern Crete (June 1988 – October 1989) and b) at Souda Air Base (October 1989 – October 1990).

He completed the ambulance and first aid school courses at the 251 HAF General Hospital (2004-2005), the Hyperbaric Medicine school of the Naval Hospital and the Underwater Demolition Team (1990-1991), the Biological, Chemical, and Nuclear Weapons school in Munich, Germany (1998-1999), the Greek Paratrooper school (2000-2001), hyperbaric diving chamber operation in Karlsruhe, Germany in November 2001, and the Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) school in 2002, at the 251 HAF General Hospital.

He served as an instructor for the special forces of the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard, on topics of Hyperbaric Diving Medicine and First Aid. He was also an instructor at the Biological, Nuclear, Chemical Weapons school, as well as an instructor at the AEROMEDICAL CENTER.

Since 1995, he has been a founding member of the “Synchronos Asklipios” Polyclinic. He serves as President and CEO of the company.
