Zois Evangelopoulos graduated from the Military Medical School (SASS) of Thessaloniki (1987). He completed his specialisation at the 251 General Aviation Hospital (1990-1991) and then at Aretaeio Hospital in Athens (1991-1994).

He trained in Surgery, Pulmonology, and Cardiology at the 251 General Aviation Hospital (1987-1988) as part of his rotation as a new Second Lieutenant and served as a specialist registrar in the Haematology Laboratory of the same hospital (1994-1999).

He served as the Head of the Health Service a) at the Ziros Radar, in Southern Crete (June 1998 – October 1989), and b) at the Souda Air Base (October 1989 – October 1990).

He completed courses at the ambulance and first aid school of the 251 GNA (2004-2005), the School of Hyperbaric Medicine of the Naval Hospital and the Divers of the Underwater Demolition Unit (1990 – 1991), the School of Biological, Chemical and Nuclear Weapons in Munich, Germany (1998 – 1999), the Greek Parachutists School (2000 – 2001), and the Hyperbaric Diving Chambers in Karlsruhe, Germany, in November 2001, the Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course in 2002, at 251 GNA.

He was an instructor for the Special Forces of the Air Force and the Coast Guard on Hyperbaric Diving Medicine and First Aid. He was also an instructor at the Centre for Aeromedical Medicine.

Since 1995, he has been a founding member of the “Modern Asklepios” Medical Centre. He holds the position of Chairman and CEO of the enterprise.
