Beach activities, water sports, games, and excursions increase the likelihood of injuries that are often considered ‘minor’ but should not be underestimated.

These can be caused by falls, rocks, or sports activities. Proper wound cleaning is essential to prevent infection, and any impact requires close monitoring. Bee, wasp, or jellyfish stings can cause severe irritation or allergic reactions and similarly require monitoring for the body’s response. Prolonged sun exposure can lead to sunburns that need care and hydration. Sprains and injuries also frequently occur during sports activities or on uneven terrain.

When should you consult a doctor? Essentially, when the minor incident seems to persist. For example:

When the wound is deep or bleeding heavily.

When there is suspicion of a fracture or severe sprain.

When an allergic reaction occurs after a sting.

When the burn is extensive or particularly painful.

When signs of infection appear.

The use of sunscreen, appropriate footwear, protective equipment during sports activities, and adherence to basic first aid rules can significantly reduce the risk of injuries.

Summer is meant to be enjoyed. With a little caution and timely medical care when needed, we can stay safe and healthy in every activity.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row type=”in_container” full_screen_row_position=”middle” column_margin=”default” column_direction=”default” column_direction_tablet=”default” column_direction_phone=”default” scene_position=”center” text_color=”dark” text_align=”left” row_border_radius=”none” row_border_radius_applies=”bg” row_position_desktop=”default” row_position_tablet=”inherit” row_position_phone=”inherit” overflow=”visible” overlay_strength=”0.3″ gradient_direction=”left_to_right” shape_divider_position=”bottom” bg_image_animation=”none”][vc_column column_padding=”no-extra-padding” column_padding_tablet=”inherit” column_padding_phone=”inherit” column_padding_position=”all” flex_gap_desktop=”10px” column_element_direction_desktop=”default” column_element_spacing=”default” desktop_text_alignment=”default” tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default”…

[1

post-2159","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-mi-katigoriopoiimeno
["GET
