Evangelos Kouremenos was born in Trikala, Thessaly. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University and the Medical Department of the Hellenic Military Academy of Combat Support Officers. In 1998, he received his specialisation in Neurology and has since served as a Consultant in the Neurology Clinic of the 251 General Air Force Hospital (251 GNA), as Deputy Director of the Neurology Clinic at the 251 GNA and is currently the Director of the clinic.
In administrative roles, he has served as Head of the Health Service of the 123 Technical Training Group of the Hellenic Air Force, Head of the Neurology Department at the Aeromedical Centre, and Head of the Medical Directorate of the Hellenic Air Training Command.
He has undergone further training in cerebrovascular accidents and demyelinating diseases.
